What You’ll Be Doing
As a Junior Global Payroll Assistant, you will support the payroll team in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple countries. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately enter payroll data in line with service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring all inputs are complete and on time.
  • Verify and review payroll data prior to payroll runs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with payroll data validation, reporting, and reconciliation tasks across multiple payroll cycles.
  • Support month-end payroll processes, including reporting and documentation.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records in accordance with internal policies and audit requirements.
  • Assist with payroll compliance by ensuring proper record-keeping and supporting internal/external audits as needed.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee payroll-related queries.
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments such as HR and Finance, as well as external payroll providers, to support smooth payroll operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine interest in payroll and finance
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data handling)
  • Strong computer literacy and confidence in learning new systems
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
