No prior payroll experience is required – comprehensive training will be provided. What You’ll Be Doing
As a Junior Global Payroll Assistant, you will support the payroll team in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple countries. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately enter payroll data in line with service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring all inputs are complete and on time.
- Verify and review payroll data prior to payroll runs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with payroll data validation, reporting, and reconciliation tasks across multiple payroll cycles.
- Support month-end payroll processes, including reporting and documentation.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in accordance with internal policies and audit requirements.
- Assist with payroll compliance by ensuring proper record-keeping and supporting internal/external audits as needed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to employee payroll-related queries.
- Liaise effectively with internal departments such as HR and Finance, as well as external payroll providers, to support smooth payroll operations.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in payroll and finance
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data handling)
- Strong computer literacy and confidence in learning new systems
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
