At Ebene Gate, we help people across the UK regain control of their finances through structured debt solutions. From our Mauritius office, our Financial Team plays a key role in managing case finances, reviewing arrangements, and securing outcomes that benefit both clients and creditors.
As an Insolvency Advisor in one of our Financial Team departments — Asset Realisations, Variations, or Financial Reviews — you’ll be part of a results driven team that balances attention to detail with excellent communication and financial judgment.
Financial Area Roles
As an Insolvency Advisor in the Asset Realisations Team, you’ll:
- Liaise with solicitors, finance companies, and customers regarding asset sales (e.g., vehicles, properties).
- Review and verify income and expenditure reports from customers.
- Process vehicle finance applications and asset-related documentation.
- Ensure all financial details are updated accurately in internal systems.
As an Insolvency Advisor in the Variations Team, you’ll:
- Prepare and manage variation proposals for changes in customers arrangements.
- Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to obtain necessary consents.
- Work with Insolvency Practitioners (IPs) to vet, approve, and submit cases.
- Update outcomes in systems and maintain accurate meeting trackers.
As an Insolvency Advisor in the Financial Reviews Team, you’ll:
- Conduct detailed annual financial reviews of customers income and expenditures.
- Communicate with customers to gather up-to-date financial documents.
- Recommend and process any changes required to payment plans or arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and timelines.
Who Should Apply?
We welcome both fresh graduates and professionals with relevant experience. If you’re confident working with numbers, enjoy reviewing documents, and have a strong sense of responsibility, this could be the perfect role for you.
You’ll be a strong fit if you have:
- A Higher School Certificate (HSC)
- A Diploma or Degree – especially in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field (an advantage, but not required)
- 2 to 3 years of experience in financial services, case management, back-office operations, or customer service involving financial data (preferred, but not essential)

You don’t need to be an expert in insolvency to join us — full training is provided. What matters most is your mindset, attention to detail, and comfort working with people and numbers.

- Ability to work with numbers and calculations
- Empathy and critical thinking
- Excellent time management and team collaboration
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and accurate data entry
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday:9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Normal Shift)
- Late Shift (after training):11:00am – 7:30pm or 12:00pm – 8:30pm (dependant on role)
